We welcome volunteers at our school. We know that they bring with them a range of skills and experiences which can enhance the learning opportunities for our children.

Volunteers come from within our parent body, our wider family and from within the local community.

Maybury Primary School places the highest priority on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, governors and volunteers to share this commitment. All volunteers will be subject to stringent vetting and induction processes, which will include the completion of an application form, an Enhanced DBS check with Children’s Barred List check, obtaining satisfactory references and any necessary training.
