Welcome to the Maybury Primary School, I have been delighted to work with the children and families of our school since becoming Headteacher in September 2013. We hope our website provides you with a snapshot and a window into our school community, but nothing beats seeing us 'first hand' in action! So please pay us a visit soon.
Our motto at Maybury Primary School is "Everyone is a learner and every experience is a learning opportunity".
We are a happy school that provides a safe and nurturing environment for learning which enables all our children to achieve the skills needed for adult life. Through a stimulating engaging curriculum that encompasses indoor and outdoor learning opportunities, we ensure that every day counts at Maybury.
We pride ourselves on our Values Based Education which results in a welcoming and caring ethos. We are all learners and our key values underpin our success, inspiring children, parents, staff and governors to learn and grow together. We enjoy working closely with parents and recognise the importance of establishing strong home/school partnerships. We understand that the health and safety of all our children is of paramount importance so our school provides a safe environment in which our children can flourish. We renewed our Values Based Quality mark in March 2015 and the founder Dr Neil Hawkes recognised us an “Outstanding Values based School”
We are very proud of our school and its achievements, including our 'Good with Outstanding features' OFSTED inspection (March 2015) which highlights our strengths, Including our ‘Outstanding’ Early Years (Nursery and Reception) and ‘Outstanding’ provision for our children’s safety.
We hope you enjoy our website and that you get a flavour for the opportunities we provide at Maybury Primary. Please click on the minibeast jigsaw pieces below to enter our class pages.
