Complete the Thursday activity on the phonics powerpoint. Tomorrow will be your spelling test day so you might want to spend longer practising these words today. 

Literacy

This week you have written a three part story.  Today we are going to write a blurb to go with your story. A blurb normally goes at the back of the story and it gives the reader an idea about what happens in the story.  It aims to get the reader interested in the book. See a couple of examples of blurbs below:

Read a book on Bug Club today.  Remember that some of your will have your zoom reading session today - make sure you zoom in on time.  Let us know in advance if you need a reminder of the link. 

Computing 

Today we are going to be learning about pointillism.  Pointillism is a  type of painting that makes a picture using lots of colourful dots. Look at the example below:

Watch the powerpoint all about this type of painting. Today you are going to create your own pointillism picture using your computer. Open the program Microsoft Paint and try to copy one of the pictures in the resources.
