Reading:

Today we are focusing on retrieving information from a text. Read ‘Graffiti Knitting’ and then answer the seven questions about the text. Make sure you read the text carefully and look for what the question is asking you to answer. The answers are at the bottom of today’s page, if you get an answer wrong edit it in green pen.

 

Literacy:

Today we are revising our word classes so please complete the noun, verb, adjective and adverb pages below and then the answers are attached at the bottom of this page for you to mark them. We will be using these in our writing tomorrow!

 

Arithmetic:

In your Arithmetic book please complete pages 4, 5, 6 and 7- written subtraction.  Please show your working out for each question in your arithmetic books. The answers are attached at the bottom of this page. If you get one wrong please go back and find where you went wrong and correct it in green pen.

 

Maths:

Today you will be continuing our revision from yesterday’s lesson, adding and subtracting fractions. If you want to recap the method go through the Powerpoint from yesterday and then complete pages 34 and 35 in your Maths CGP books. The answers are below make sure you use the answers for your book- maths answers 1 and 2 are for if you have the expected book and maths stretch answers 1 and 2 are for if you have  the stretch book.

 

Handwriting:

Complete the handwriting words, remember to focus on your pen grip and seating position. Quality over quantity!

 

Topic:

Today we are learning about Victorian classrooms and what life was like for children during the era. Go through the Powerpoint and watch the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=6&v=erYwMz5rdW0&feature=emb_logo

Once you have then complete the first sheet comparing classrooms now to the Victorian era.
