We are excited to let you know about our upcoming International Week, taking place during the week beginning 20th October. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to celebrate the diverse cultures within our school and to learn more about the world! Each class has chosen a specific country to explore, and there will be plenty of fun activities throughout the week. 

On Thursday, 23rd October, we’ll have a mufti day. We invite your children to wear either the colours of the flag of the country their class is studying or traditional clothing from that country. We really encourage everyone to get involved and show their support for different cultures. There’s no charge for coming in mufti! 

On the same day, we’ll also host our Annual Food Event at 3:15 pm in the playground. Each class will be offering tasty food from their chosen countries, and we’d love for you to join us for a little culinary adventure!  Please ensure you collect your children BEFORE attending the food sale.

We are pleased to inform you that food boxes will be available for £5 each. These should be pre-ordered via www.scopay.com/maybury  or via the link on our school website under online payments. Payment is required by Tuesday, 21st October.  Tickets will be sent home on Tuesday afternoon, which must be presented to exchange for your food box on Thursday. You can then explore the stalls and fill the box with a variety of delicious options.

We hope International Week will be a memorable time for our children, filled with learning and enjoyment. We will have a queuing system in place and would appreciate your patience to ensure all parents are able to access each class stall in a timely manner.
