P.E.
The PE days for the Spring term 2 are as follows for each class*:

*These may change every half term. This is because we are very lucky to have a PE specialist once a week and the changing of PE slots give every class an opportunity to work with the specialist.
The children will need to wear their correct PE kit on their PE day. Correct PE kit consists of:
- Sky blue Maybury t-shirt
- Navy blue or black zip-up hooded jacket
- Navy blue or black jogging bottoms
- Trainers (only lace up if your child can tie their own laces please)
- Long hair must be tied up and no hard headbands worn
- No tights, especially for gymnastics lessons
- No jewellery
PE lessons
This half term, we are learning about tag rugby, focusing on dodging and passing.
We are also learning about gymnastics, focusing on creatively using space and our body movements to create sequences. We will be using a range of equipment and learning different types of balances, rolls and jumps.

- KS2 gymnastics club
- Physifun sessions run twice a week
- Some Year 6 children attended the WASPS Spring Festival at Royal Holloway University. We got to practise netball, basketball, cheerleading, football and rugby.
